Castle Hotel - Himare

The room had a nice balcony overlooking the sea, perfect for those sunset views. The sea view was a definite highlight, giving a good feel of the area.

Zero reception access made it tough to figure out check-in, and instead we encountered a situation where we had to wait in the dark until someone arrived. The breakfast situation left much to be desired, served a la carte with limited options, and the bathroom could certainly use an update. The hotel pushed for cash payments due to broken payment machines, which became an inconvenience for us as we typically carry card payment options.

Cozy and lovely rooms with balcony, a king size bed, fresh sheets, incredibly nice breakfast. Beautiful and favourable location, within walking distance of everywhere...

easy strolls to fine beaches and charming restaurants

I loved how close I was to both Filikuri Beach, just a short walk away, and the vibrant local dining at Atlantic Restorant, only a few steps from my room. The whole area made for a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, and I wish I could've stayed longer to soak it all in.

Clean and cosy room with a clean bathroom and climate control, a mini-bar, and a flat screen TV with cable channels. Had gates. Location next to the Himara coast, the sea, and the "center ". Besides, easy to get to Filikuri Beach.

Recommend it for beach lovers

The views and sounds from the balcony were amazing. Every morning, I would sit there, coffee in hand, and watch as the sun rose over the water. The owner and his staff treated us like family, going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Plus, being so close to the beach made it easy to just walk down and enjoy the water.

It wasn't the most affordable option out there, but I found it acceptable.

I liked its great-sized and cozy rooms.

The staff were really helpful and professional, provided good services. Great that they have Wheelchair Accessible rooms with comfy beds and balcony, for instance; everyone is welcome here.

Perfect beach location!

Easy access to a quiet beach made for a relaxing getaway. The views from the balcony were fine, and waking up to a delicious Danish pastry at breakfast was a treat. Navigating the many stairs to the room was a bit cumbersome, and at times, the staff seemed overwhelmed handling multiple inquiries. A pleasant experience with beautiful scenery.

The stay was quite enjoyable, especially with the great pressure from the showers in the room. I also appreciated the beautiful views from the balcony where I could relax and soak in the scenery. Having convenient access to the beach nearby made my solo trip incredibly delightful.

The location is rly close to the beach, so waking up to the ocean views was super nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the young boy who was always around. Breakfast was basic but still good, and the room was a decent size, great for us. Plus, the beach was clean and not really crowded. We had a pleasant stay!
